It’s a little weird, watching this episode and realizing that, logically, Daniel is wearing Sam’s jacket. From a story standpoint, anyway, since Teal’c is wearing his black jacket, Jack was in green, and Carter didn’t take hers when she got abducted by replicators. Daniel was in base BDUs, hence…Carter’s jacket. Even though Michael is much larger than Amanda.

These are the things I think of when I’m watching Stargate and my internet and cable are going in and out constantly.

What’s to say Thor wasn’t thinking ahead and had combat stuff beamed up for Daniel when he beamed Daniel up?? He is a smart guy who thinks ahead like that.

Just figured I’d throw that idea out there.

That could very well be. I just wish Thor had also thought to grab matching pants. But the Asgard are kind of lacking in pants-knowledge…

That could also be Daniel’s own lack of caring for his wardrobe (especially in the crisis of Sam being in danger). It was only THAT season that his offbase style got better, so…

I’ll just assume that it’s the combination of Vala and Cam that really convince him about the benefits of matching when off-world. Because clearly it took eight years around Jack and Carter to get him to wear jeans…

Yes, Lupercalia technically started yesterday, but it is way more fun to wish people a “Happy Horny Werewolf Day” whenever they say anything about Valentine’s, and honestly, other people are doing the Valentine’s ships way better than I ever could. So starting today, I’m celebrating Lupercalia for the rest of the month.

With (more than likely) unconventional pairings! Mostly because canon pairings tend to bore me. Seriously. I hated Buffy/Angel while that was going on, and loved Buffy/Spike. The second Buffy/Spike became more than fuck buddies? “Hey. Buffy/Angel’s not bad!”

Anyway. I hope everyone has a really awesome Horny Werewolf Day~

I’m kinda back? My thesis is finished, though I still need to do final revisions and presentation at the end of the semester, but that’s why I haven’t been making any graphics larger than icon batches lately. Sorry for the silence, but I swear I’m going to be a little more active from now on.

I’ve also cleaned out my follower list, and gotten rid of some of the really negative shit on my dash. Things I’m not going to stomach? Bad-mouthing people who ship slash (or bad-mouthing people who dare to not ship Wincest) or blaming the “demise of Stargate on other fans”. Both of those things are bullshit.

Expect some more Stargate graphics starting tomorrow, since I’m doing my own  rewatch. And probably some Supernatural, since we’re getting close to things happening that may make me care about that show again.

Tonight, though, I’ve got Walking Dead to catch up on!
